It appears that U2 made a special guest appearance on a fan podcast yesterday evening. U2 were interviewed by hosts Scott Aukerman and Adam Scott.
They appeared on the podcast know as U Talkin U2 To Me?, which sees hosts Scott and Adam discuss anything and everything U2. They appeared on the season finale of the podcast titled U2 Talk 2 U.
All four members of the band granted a rare interview to the pair, who have hosted the Earwolf.com podcast for 22 episodes spanning over a year-and-a-half. The hosts said that they started the podcast shortly after the news that the band would be releasing a new album.
After Songs of Innoncence came out at the end of the last year, they continued to follow them the whole way and they did a special on the Innocence+Experience tour. Then of course the special guests on the season finale were U2 themselves.
One of the producers of the show said "Putting two talented superfans like Scott and Adam together with their favorite band produced a truly unique conversation full of unforgettable insights,” adding that "It was a lot of fun … I know U2 fans will be thrilled."
