Motorhead are giving their fans a chance to appear in their new music video. A competition on the band’s official website detailed how you could appear in the band’s official video for ‘Thunder and Lightning’.
Motorhead want you to send in your video submissions to them, rocking out to the song. This covers a wide range of methods such as playing air guitar/bass/drums, actually playing the song on a real instrument or just having fun jamming out to the song.
They said that they will cut the best entries into the video for everyone enjoy. They also stated that an in house jury will deicide what the best entries are and they will receive a special prize from the band .
They detailed the prizes for the best entries as well as the runner-ups which are as follows: The winners will get an ocean view cabin (double room) onboard the Motörboat in September – The prize is worth a total of $2400 and the winner can invite another person to come along too, It’s five days of great live music, partying with like-minded people en route to the Bahamas.
Runner-up prizes include a limited edition 40th anniversary t-shirt, a band photograph signed by Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey D, Bad Magic poster and some guitar pics. So for all the Irish Motorhead fans out there, get your submissions in!
