Guns N’ Roses are supposedly set to headline Coachella 2016 with the original line up. There are also plans to do a full stadium tour of North America this year.
According to multiple sources the band are set to play the Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California, set for April 15-17 and April 22-24. This could then be followed by a 25 show tour of North America this summer.
Guns N’ Roses are also scheduled to be one of the first acts to play the new Las Vegas Arena, set to open April 6. Guns N’ Roses is said to be asking as much as $3 million (€2.7 million) per show, with tickets topping out in the €230-€254 range.
If the sources are correct it will be the first time that the band have played with the original line-up in 23 years. The last show Axl Rose and Slash played together was on July 17, 1993 at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
Guns N’ Roses toured South America last year but not with the original line up. Axl Rose was part of the tour which saw them also play in Las Vegas.
