Our Man at the Movies, Clint Drieberg, sat down with the star of Transformers The Last Knight: Mark Wahlberg ahead of the film’s release. The latest offering from director Michael Bay will hit screens tomorrow, June 22 at cinemas everywhere with Paramount Pictures. Clint got the full low down on the new flick from Wahlberg, check out the interview above.
The film premiered at Odeon Leicester Square in London at the weekend. It’s the fifth instalment in the series with both Bay and Wahlberg stating that it will also be the last. It’s been ten years since the Transformers journey began; the first movie of the franchise Transformers was released in 2007.
Along with Mark Walhberg, Transformers The Last Knight features Stanley Tucci returning from Age of Extinction, Josh Duhamel, and John Turturro reprising their roles from the first three films and Anthony Hopkins joining the cast. They’ve gone all out for the final movie with a reported budget of a whopping €217 million! Wowza!
