Christy Dignam himself is vowing to perform even though is courageously battling cancer and proceeds from this concert will help pay his medical bills.
All the stars involved will be singing a classic Aslan track.
U2 will perform "This Is" live from their studio in New York which will be beamed to the concert at the Olympia and streamed across the world.
And Aslan's Billy McGuinness said the band are delighted that their old rivals have signed up to support Christy.
He said: “It's amazing – I would never have believed U2 would do something like this and we are delighted and thrilled.
“I want to thank Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry personally as it is really nice that they are taking time out from recording their own album to help Christy.
“It has blown us all away.”
