Aer Lingus has announced a recruitment drive to hire up to 30 qualified B1/ B2 CAT A engineers.
Successful candidates will have the unique opportunity to work on the most up-to-date aviation technology and more sustainable aircraft, including the Airbus Neo series.
Aer Lingus said in a statement that it “takes immense pride in offering a work culture that encourages exciting career progression, providing numerous opportunities for ongoing training and skills development.”
Newly recruited engineers will benefit from a highly competitive salary package, including pension contributions and travel perks for the employee, their family and friends.
Amidst its current period of expansion, Aer Lingus is gearing up for its largest summer schedule to date, where it will be flying to new destinations in Europe, Sicily, Crete, and Turkey, as well as to Denver and Minneapolis St. Paul in the United States.
A representative for Aer Lingus said: “The recruitment of skilled engineers is a pivotal step in ensuring the airline remains at the forefront of technology, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
“The airline’s commitment to growth and improving sustainability is underscored by the arrival of further new aircraft in the next year, including two A320neos, and becoming the first airline in the world to take delivering of the Airbus A321 XLR.”
Prospective candidates must hold a current unrestricted EASA Aircraft Maintenance B1 and/or B2 Licence (ideally Airbus A320/A330 Type rated).
