Aerosmith will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their album 'Get Your Wings' with a very special vinyl release.
Arriving via UMe/Capitol on May 17, the vinyl is pressed 180g custom colour "gold sparkle" vinyl, housed in an embossed gold foil jacket.
Every copy of this special vinyl will be numbered with gold foil, and enclosed in black poly-lined sleeves, which preserve the iconic album's sound and quality.
This collection will also include an Aerosmith logo sticker from the 1970s era, as well as a replica of a vintage ad.
Accompanying this collection will be reimagined items which epitomise Aerosmith's legacy during the 'Get Your Wings' era. Merchandise and apparel collections are also included.
The collection is limited to 1974 copies, marking the year that the album was originally released.
Recorded at the Record Plant in New York, 'Get Your Wings' which was certified platinum three times by the RIAA, was also the first album which saw the band collaborate with producer Jack Douglas, who went onto produce their next three albums.

News of this vinyl collection release comes just a few month after Aerosmith also confirmed plans to release a 'Greatest Hits' album.
This album contains as many as 44 classic Aerosmith hits, including ‘Cryin’, ‘Walk This Way’, ‘Dream On’, ‘Crazy’, and ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’.
