Ape Rising are taking to the stage at the Underground on Dame St this evening to launch their latest single ‘Divide‘ just in time for Christmas.
The impromptu show will celebrate the release of their single, which features on their self-titled debut album.
The five piece, who hail from Co. Cavan, released their album in September to a huge crowd in The Bowery, and it consists of melodic space rock with a synth math rock feel.
Using their love of video games as inspiration for their song writing, the band hid themselves away for nearly 18-months to produce and record the album themselves, releasing their first single ‘King Of The Universe’ from the album in 2016.
Using the critical acclaim for ‘King Of The Universe’ as a teaser for their album, the band then returned to the studio to put the final touches on what would eventually become their 12-track debut.
The video for ‘Divide’ will be released across the bands social media today to coincide with the single launch and the band will also have download codes for the single tonight to all who attend!
