An appeal for information has been launched following the death of a man in Dublin.
Gardai in Tallaght launched a murder investigation after 49 year old Artene Bob was found by a passerby with serious injuries to his chest and body at Sean Walsh Park on Friday morning.
He died from these injuries later that day in Tallaght Hospital.
The Assistant State Pathologist Dr. Margaret Bolster carried out a post-mortem which showed he was the victim of an assault.
The Romanian father of one had recently been working on a construction site in Carrickmines.
Investigators have said the man's partner and eight year old son still live in Romania.
Bob came to Ireland three years ago and was not known to Gardai prior to his death.
The last sighting of him was in the Moore Street area of the city centre at around half past eight on Thursday evening.
Superintendent Ian Lackey, who is leading the investigation, has urged anyone who has any information or may have seen him as he travelled from the city centre towards Tallaght to contact the Gardai.
They're also appealing for anyone who may have been in Sean Walsh Park on Friday morning to contact them at Tallaght Garda station on 01-6666000.
