Conor McGregor's appeal aimed at overturning a civil jury’s finding against him for assaulting a woman in a Dublin hotel will come before the Court of Appeal later today.
Last November a jury found that the 36-year-old former UFC world champion assaulted Nikita Hand in 2018.
The incident happened in the Beacon Hotel in Dublin on 9 December 2018 - The victim sought to have Mr McGregor held civilly liable for rape.
The jury in the case awarded Ms Hand almost a quarter of a million euro in damages.
The multi-millionaire UFC fighter instructed his lawyers to lodge an appeal directly after the verdict.
That appeal, which includes claims the trial judge made several legal and factual errors in his conduct of the 12 day trial, is listed to be heard before the three-judge Court of Appeal later today.
