Women across the world have come together to take part in Aptaclub’s new research which details the fears and most positive moments of a woman’s pregnancy journey.
In new research conducted by Aptaclub, they have revealed 6 in 10 mums believe seeing their baby for the first time at their scan and experiencing their baby moving for the first time are the most memorable moments of their pregnancy.
While the top concern for most pregnant women was trying to hide their bump from people for the first few months, which was followed closely by trying to manage symptoms of morning sickness.
The mood changed with the varying stages of pregnancy, with trimester two bringing fears of back pain, while the third trimester brings fears of fatigue and discomfort.
Aptaclub Expert Midwife, Sinead McSorley said: “Pregnancy is such a magical time for mums-to-be, but also a time of many changes. There is so much information for mums to take in, from how their body is changing during pregnancy to how their baby is developing.
“Mums want to do the very best for their baby, and care hugely about ensuring that they eat the right things and stay well. Aptaclub’s Pregnancy Timeline knows how special this journey is and charts it in real-time so mums can follow baby’s growth and development.”
