Arcade Fire have announced that they will be playing some European dates this year. The band have revealed that they will play at two European festivals this summer.
They recently announced that they will headline Bilbao BBK in Spain and Lisbon’s NOS Alive in July. They will join fellow NOS Alive headliners Radiohead on the bill for the Portugese festival’s 10th birthday celebrations. Radiohead similarly announced a string of summer festival dates recently.
Other acts that will be at the festival in Lisbon include The Chemical Brothers, Tame Impala, Hot Chip, John Grant, Courtney Barnett and The 1975 which takes place in the Portugese capital between July 7-9. Arcade Fire will headline the Sunday night (July 9) after M83 and Jose Gonzalez.
Their other festival appearance this summer sees the band headlining Bilboa BBK Live in Spain. They will be joined by fellow headliners Foals over the two days.
Other acts playing at the Bilbao festival include Pixies, M83, New Order, Hot Chip, Years & Years, Courtney Barnett and Wolf Alice also announced this morning (January 26). More artists are expected to be confirmed in the run up to the festival.
