Unsure which acts to add to your agenda? Then let us give you a hand!

From world-famous musicians, to indie Irish bands – there is something on this list to suit any music lover.

Friday, August 16th

Ethel Cain – 7:45pm to 8:45pm at Electric Arena

Ethel Cain, real name Hayden Silas Anhedönia, has been making waves in the indie music scene, especially with her 2022 album ‘Preachers Daughter’.

Cain has an incredibly unique sound with music ranging from gothic rock to alternative pop, exploring themes of Southern America and religious trauma.

Cain names Florence & The Machine, Steve Miller Band and a variety of Christian music as her biggest inspirations. If you’re looking for an ambient and emotional set, Ethel Cain cannot be skipped over.

NewDad – 8:45pm to 9:30pm at the 3 Music Stage

NewDad are an Irish indie-rock band hailing from Galway. Over the past year the band has really cemented their names in the Irish indie music scene with their debut album ‘Madra’.

Their music can be compared to the likes of The Cure and Just Mustard, a set that any gothic rock lover would enjoy.

Noah Kahan – 10:45pm to Midnight at Main Stage

Noah’s career skyrocketed to mainstream success two years ago upon the release of ‘Stick Season’, Kahan’s first number one single.

If you love that folk-pop sound of Mumford & Sons or The Lumineers then Noah’s set is sure to be a boot-stomping good time.

Saturday, August 17th

Kneecap – 7:15pm to 8pm at Electric Arena

The Northern Irish rap and hip hop trio have been making waves not only in the music industry but also in the world of cinema with their award winning biographical film.

Their music clearly draws inspiration from 90’s and early 2000’s hip hop, but has a unique twist of Irish Republicanism. If you’re looking for a chaotic and high-energy set then Kneecap can’t be missed.

The Scratch – 10:30pm to 11:30pm at Rankins Wood

What would you get if you mixed heavy metal with Irish trad music? The answer is The Scratch.

This Dublin-based band is perfect for you if you’re looking for some foot-stomping music that is just made to be performed live.

The lads are just coming off of a wildly successful summer tour performing at the likes of Glastonbury and Beyond the Pale.

Calvin Harris – 11pm to 1pm at Main Stage

Arguably one of the most highly anticipated headliners this year will be Calvin Harris.

This Scotland-born EDM artist was almost inescapable during the 2010’s with songs like ‘We Found Love’, ‘Summer’, ‘This Is What You Came For’ and ‘One Kiss’.

If you’re looking for a set where everyone in the crowd will be screaming the lyrics, then Calvin Harris is a headliner you can’t miss.

Sunday, August 18th

The Stranglers – 2:30pm to 3:30pm at Main Stage

A band that needs no introduction, The Stranglers are an exciting act for any post-punk, and alternative rock enthusiasts.

Originating from the UK punk rock scene of the 70s and 80s, their hit song ‘Golden Brown’ now sits at over 246,000,000 streams on Spotify.

The perfect set for anyone looking for a hit of nostalgia over the weekend.

CMAT – 7:30pm to 8:30pm at Electric Arena

Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, or CMAT, is an Irish indie pop artist from Meath whose music could be described as disco pop with a noticeable country music twang.

She first gained attention for her song ‘Another Day (kfc)’ which tells the story of CMAT crying over a break-up in a chicken shop.

If you couldn’t already tell, Thompsons wicked sense of humour shines through all her music and performances, making her an artist you don’t want to skip.

Raye – 8:45pm to 9:45pm at Main Stage

Raye is an artist that shot into the mainstream seemingly overnight with her TikTok viral song ‘Escapism’.

Winning a record-breaking six Brit Awards, including Best New Artist, the wickedly talented Raye’s music can be described as a fusion of R&B and Jazz with definite influences from Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill.
