Barry Keoghan has banned his family from watching his much publicised film Saltburn, due to the "racy scenes".

The actor was nominated for best actor at this year's Golden Globes for his role as Oliver Quick in the Emerald Fennell thriller.

Last year, Keoghan won a BAFTA Award for his role in the Martin McDonagh directed The Banshees Of Inisherin.

Despite his success from starring in Saltburn, it would appear that Barry Keoghan's family are forbidden from watching this movie.

This was confirmed by the actor's aunt Lorraine, who raised him after the death of his mother when he was a child.

"There are also some things he doesn't want us knowing… or seeing", Lorraine said in an interview.

She also added, "He's banned the whole family from watching Saltburn because there's a few racy scenes in it".

Last week, Barry Keoghan admitted that he still feels a "massive loneliness", despite his ongoing success.

“There’s a loneliness as well that comes with this”, he said. “A massive loneliness. It’s hard not to talk about that or to pretend that’s not there”. See more on this from Nova here.

This also comes after the mother of Barry Keoghan's former partner Alyson Sandro revealed that the pair have split up. The former couple share a young son called Brando together.
