During her performance at the Coachella Festival, Billie Eilish closed out Saturday's bill, by welcoming singer Damon Albarn onto the stage.

Eilish performed a string of her early hits. This was also followed by Happy Ever After cut Getting Older.

It had already been announced that this Coachella Festival would also be streamed via YouTube. See here.

"This man changed my life in lots of ways" - Eilish introduces Albarn to the stage

Eilish subsequently brought Damon Albarn onto the stage, introducing him as "Gorillaz's Damon Albarn" and telling the crowd, “This man changed my life in a lot of ways, and changed my complete view of what music could be and what art could be and what creation could be".

She also added, “My first favourite band ever was The Good, The Bad And The Queen when I was six years old, and Blur changed the world and f*****g Gorillaz changed the world, and this man is literally a genius and that’s that".

The pair performed Gorillaz track 'Feel Good Inc', where they were joined on stage by rapper Posdnous.

Damon Albarn then thanked Eilish along with her brother Finneas.

“What the f***? Y’all. I’m sorry. Where do I go from there? Gorillaz? Please. Please make some noise for them, dude", Eilish also said. “Woah. You don’t understand how much Damon means to me, I feel like I am dying".

"We're getting sued by Taylor Swift tomorrow"

Many fans who tuned into this performance via YouTube were also quick to notice that as Eilish addressed the crowd, an unidentified man's voice with an American accent said "We're getting sued by Taylor Swift tomorrow".

"Sorry had to edit it really quick. “We’re getting sued by Taylor Swift tomorrow”-someone backstage (probably not Damon Albarn since he has a British accent)", one viewer also wrote.

Back in January, Albarn also apologised for comments he made regarding Taylor Swift, claiming that she does not write her own songs.
