In the trailer, Billy Corgan said: “The Magnificent Others is a long-form show where we explore with great artists musicians, anybody I truly admire and take you into their inner story about how they got to be so great".
“Look, we’ve all heard great interviews from great artists, we hear the war stories, we are here to figure out what made them great and what keeps them great. We want to hear fresh stories, we want to hear fresh perspectives, we want to understand the times from their individuated perspectives, join me on The Maginificent Others, a very curious and one-of-a-kind exploration of these great minds".

Earlier this month, Billy Corgan shared footage of the horrific LA wildfires from his balcony.
“I wanted to kind of give everyone a little message today, I’m feeling better. Thank you for all your well wishes. But, um, yeah, I’m out here in LA right now, and it’s kind of the apocalypse. I think about 1000 structures built burned last night. People I know I’ve had to evacuate and it’s a pretty intense situation", Corgan wrote.
He added: “We’re safe where we are, or we’re ostensibly in the zone of concern, but it’s still at a pretty good distance. We lost power last night and that was pretty intense because obviously, with the power out, it’s hard to get information and you know, you’re kind of almost fearful of going to bed, lest you miss an alert or something".
