Billy Idol has announced a brand new album, 'Dream Into It', his first in more than a decade.
In a recent interview, Idol revealed that he was inspired to put this album together, after working on a documentary with filmmaker Jonas Akerlund. This documentary has yet to be released.
The album will feature contributions from singers Avril Lavinge and Joan Jett, as well as Alison Mosshart of the Kills.
"You couldn't help but think about your life and all of the different elements. You know, the punk rock days, coming to America, going solo, becoming a bit of a drug addict...and then getting [sober, I] stopped being a drug addict", Idol said.
He added: "So the album is a little bit about the story of my life, almost in chronological order. That's how we've even done the track listing. We didn't do it like that in the old days. You always did it [with] a hit single first and the second single second. But this [album] is telling a story, that's the story of my life".
Offering fans a sneak preview of the album, Idol has already release the single, 'Still Dancing', which will also feature on this record. Check this out below.
