Billy Joel has postponed two UK shows due to medical issues.

The singer was set to perform in Edinburgh's Scottish Gas Murrayfield and Liverpool's Anfield Stadium in June this year. However, these gigs have been pushed back to 6 June 2026 and 20 June 2026 respectively.

It was also confirmed that tickets bought for these dates will remain valid for the new dates.

Joel Postpones Shows

In a statement, Billy Joel says while he regrets postponing theses shows, his "health must come first".

"While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first", he said. "I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding".

Billy Joel had been scheduled to play his next show in Toronto, Canada on 15 March.

"Billy Joel’s upcoming concert dates will be rescheduled due to a medical condition", a statement read. "The current tour will be postponed for four months to allow him to recover from recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors".

"Joel is expected to make a full recovery".

Joel's representatives have also said that the singer is expected to make a full recovery, with the tour expected to resume in Pittsburgh on July 5.
