Metal behemoths Black Sabbath recently unleashed their latest album, “13,” and the set debuted at a sky-high No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Even with this release just hitting fans’ ears, singer Ozzy Osbourne is already thinking about the band’s follow-up to “13,” and he’s not sure if it will ever happen.
Speaking with The Telegraph, Osbourne explained that the future of Black Sabbath really depends on the health of longtime guitarist Tony Iommi, who is currently fighting lymphoma.
“At the moment, we’re doing so many weeks on the road, then [Iommi] has to go back for more treatment,” Ozzy told the publication. “He’s had chemo and radiotherapy, and now he’s on a thing to boost his immune system. I really hope it’s gone for good. But you never know with that stuff.”
Not only did “13” land atop the Billboard 200 chart, but the release also scored a No. 1 slot on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.
