Bob Dylan has banned the use of mobile phones at his upcoming UK shows.

The legendary musician and singer-songwriter announced this UK Tour this week, bringing his ‘Rough And Rowdy Ways’ tour to the UK this November.

However, Dylan has also revealed that strict rules will take effect at these shows, including the use of mobile phones at these concerts.

These shows will also see staff from the Yondr tech company help concert-goers put their phones in locked, secure magnetic pouches. These phones will then be unlocked when fans leave the venue.

The UK leg of this tour will see Dylan perform ten shows throughout this month, beginning on November 1 with a live show at Bournemouth’s BIC Windsor Hall, in a month which also includes three shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Other shows will also see Bob Dylan take trips to Liverpool, Edinburgh, Nottingham and Wolverhampton.

These UK shows come just months after Bob Dylan had previously announced a run of US Tour dates.

The tour which kicked off in Florida, also saw the singer take in shows in Athens, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Tennessee and others.
