Bradley Cooper has said that he would star in a fourth movie of ‘The Hangover’ in an “instant”.
Cooper was speaking to David Remnick of the New Yorker Radio Hour podcast, promoting his latest movie, Maestro.
The actor who starred alongside Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha in in the Hangover Trilogy, spoke to Remnick about veering away from such comedic roles, to more dramatic and serious roles in recent years.
“in an instant”
“Are you done with fun? In other words, if another kinda fun comic role came along, it was three months of your life, it’s not Hangover 5 but something of a similar spirit”, Remnick asked Cooper during the interview.
At this point the actor replied, “Well, I would do Hangover 5. It would be Hangover 4 first, but yeah”.
He continued, “I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant just because I love Todd [Phillips], I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would”.
However, Cooper was quick to cool any potential rumours of a fourth instalment of the Todd Phillips directed comedy.
“I don’t think Todd’s ever going to do that”, the actor added.
Bradley Cooper will be next spotted on the screens, starring in Maestro, which he also directs.
Arriving on December 20, the film will premiere on select cinema screens, and Netflix.
Along with the Hangover trilogy, Bradley Cooper is also renowned for starring alongside singer Lady Gaga in ‘A Star Is Born’, a film which he also directed.
Back in 2019, Cooper said finding out that he did not receive a nomination for Best Director at the Oscars, left him “embarrassed”. More on this here.
