Brendan Gleeson has joined the cast of the upcoming US crime drama series, The Good Daughter.
This limited series is centred around two sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, played Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy respectively. The sisters "have spent the last 28 years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence".
A synopsis for this series has also said the following.
"When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene", it says.
"Now a lawyer like her father, she's forced to confront her own demons as the case twists through one shocking revelation after another", it added. "In the end, both she and Samantha find themselves wondering if the price of being the good daughter was worth it after all".
An official premiere date for The Good Daughter has yet to be confirmed.
Last July, Brendan Gleeson revealed that he almost missed out on a role in the Mel Gibson starring Braveheart. More on this from Nova here.
