So after a lot of speculation, it appears that the rumours are true and Bruce Spingsteen will be playing in Ireland this year. The Boss will play in Croke Park later this year.

It will be the first time that Bruce Springsteen has played at the venue, having played in other big venues such as Slane Castle over the years.

The last time that Springsteen and the E Street Band played in Ireland was back in 2012. This year he will be playing in Croke Park on May 27th.

The show is part of the recent River Tour which sees him doing some globetrotting promoting his new reissue. The tour is to promote the recent reissue of his 1980 album The River.

Aiken Promotions are the ones organising the concert and as of now only one date has been announced. There is a possibility that they could add another date due to the demand.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, February 11th from 9am. Apparently the date of the gig is clashing with two Leinster football quarter finals. They have now been moved to the previous week to accommodate this.
