Bruce Springsteen is currently working on the production of a film adaption on the making of his 1982 studio album ‘Nebraska’, according to reports.
Reports have suggested that the singer is consulting about the possible film with director Scott Cooper (Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, Crazy Heart).
The film is to be based on Warren Zanes’ book Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.
‘Nebraska’ was also the sixth studio album released by Bruce Springsteen, and was recorded while he was facing a dark psychological period, and stands out due to the stripped back nature of the recordings.
Springsteen had also recorded several tracks as demos on a four track recorder, and intended to re-record them with the E-Street Band. In the end, Springsteen released these demos as they were.
