During the week, Bruce Springsteen took to the stage at Belfast’s Boucher Road for a three hour live set, and showed no signs of slowing down.

This show is part of the Boss’ current major tour, which also includes dates in Kilkenny, Dublin and Cork, before heading over to Holland, France and Spain.

The singer kicked off the UK and European leg with a show in Cardiff last week. Check out the live setlist and footage here.

While he may have been a few minutes late, Bruce Sprinsgteen and the E Street Band made at an unforgettable night for those who attended last Thursday’s show, as they launched into tracks, No Surrender, Lonesome Day, Prove It All Night, and Letter To You.

“waited since God was a boy”

As Springsteen took to the stage, fans cheered, as the Boss shouted: “Belfast”.

Some fans held posters aloft with messages including: “I’ve waited since God was a boy for your harmonica!”.

Other fans even made cheeky birthday requests, with one supporter saying: “Bruce, can I dance in the dark with you?”.

While on stage, Springsteen was able to direct his E Street Band, play harmonica and interact with the front row, with one lucky fan getting a kiss on the cheek from Springsteen, who also signed her shirt.

Another fan was even luckier still, as she was handed the singer’s harmonica at the end of the night.

“Now if you’re out there tonight there’s just one thing I want to know”, Springsteen called out the Belfast crowd. “Can you feel it? Can you feel it, feel it now? Can you feel the spirit? If you can feel the spirit I want you to answer me a mighty yeah yeah!”.

While singing Hungry Heart, Springsteen walked off the stage, before high fiving his adoring fans in the front row, with one lady even getting the opportunity to dance with The Boss.

Springsteen and The E Street Band finished off the night with a live performance of Born To Run.

By the time The Boss finishes off the Irish leg of his tour on May 19 in Croke Park, he will have played in front one million people in Ireland.
