John Lennon's old motorbike is about to be put up for sale this spring - yes the very same one he used to get around his estate in Surrey in 1969.
The late Beatle member acquired the Honda Monkey-Trail Bike back in the day, using it around his country estate until 1971, before he moved to New York with Henry Graham then taking over ownership of the motor.
Graham ended up parting with the bike that very same year, selling it on to current owner John Harington, who has managed to keep the bike ever since, displaying it at various events over the past 47 years.
Nonetheless, H&H Classics have now acquired the motor stating it is 'largely unrestored and original' with their estimates for the auction sale coming in circa £30K as they believe it has 'huge investment potential'.
The bike will be available for sale on March 4th at their National Motorcycle Museum Auction in Solihull.
You might want to start saving... but what a coup for whoever picks it up!
