A rail users group is calling on the gardaí to enforce the law on public transport.
It's after two men violently attacked each other on the Luas in Dublin earlier this month.
Both were hospitalised after one repeatedly kicked the other in the head.
Thomas Stamp from Rail Users Ireland, says there needs to be more garda presence on-board:
A viral graphic video that was shared last month, shows a man being kicked continuously in the head, has been shared widely online in the past 24 hours.
It has emerged that it is from an incident which took place on July 6 and a man was arrested by gardai.
The man was rushed to the Mater hospital with serious, but non-life threatening head injuries.
The other man was arrested in connection with the incident but was later released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
