There’s calls for the Transport Minister Shane Ross to remove a sleigh perched on top of a car bearing his name and image.
The contraption has been spotted driving around the south side of Dublin. Members of the public have reacted in shock after spotting a car driving around Stepaside and Rathfarnham with a sleigh and a Christmas tree on the roof.
The Road Safety Authority told the Irish Independent that it’s ‘unsafe’ and should be removed. A message printed on the structure reads ‘Happy Christmas Counsellor Kevin Daly, working with Shane Ross, Like Santa We Deliver’.
Counsellor Daly says the contraption is safe and has invited the RSA to inspect it. We’re still awaiting comment on the matter from Shane Ross’s team.
