Iggy Pop’s new album Post Pop Depression is now available to stream in full online. The album which was produced by Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, was recently made available to stream online by NPR Music.
The album is set to release this month on March 18th and was recorded in secrecy last year. Iggy Pop assembled a supergroup of sorts for the album, with the aforementioned Josh Homme joining Arctic Monkeys’ drummer Matt Helders & Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita for the project.
The new album features the previously released tracks ‘Gardenia’ and ‘Break Into Your Heart’. As well as a new album the band have announced that they will be playing a few select dates throughout the year.
Iggy Pop announced a headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall with new bandmates Josh Homme and Matt Helders in May. Pop and Co are currently playing shows across the US in select venues.
As Josh Homme described the band are playing in “small, beautiful theaters where their presence might still seem disruptive.” You can listen to Iggy Pop’s new album Post Pop Depression in full down below.
