Bon Jovi have released a new single, ‘Living Proof’. You can check it out below.
The track features on the band’s upcoming album, ‘Legendary’, which will arrive next month, June 7 to be precise.
Ahead of this release, Bon Jovi had already shared a lyric video for the album’s title track back in March. Check that out and Nova’s report here.
Bon Jovi To “bring back the toy box”
In a promotional video for ‘Living Proof’ which was shared a few days ago, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi said: “We bring back the talk box, the idea based on Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh and our using it first on ‘Livin’ on a Prayer”.
“This is a big ol’ rock song just the way you like it”, he added.
Recently, Jon Bon Jovi has admitted that his touring career remains in doubt due to ongoing vocal problems, having undergone surgery in 2022.
Last month, the singer picked which song that he would love to sing again, if his touring career was to draw to a close.
“The first one that came to mind would be ‘These Days,’ which I guess nobody would ever think”, he revealed.
Quoting some of the track’s lyrics, Bon Jovi also added, These days, the stars seem out of reach /These days, there ain’t a ladder on the streets / These days are fast, nothing lasts in this graceless age / There ain’t nobody left but us these days”.
“I think that sort of encapsulates where I am at this moment in time”.
