Watch Wolfgang Van Halen Join Slash On Stage

Back in May, Wolfgang Van Halen son of the late Eddie Van Halen, a former bandmate of David Lee Roth, also joined Myles Kennedy and Slash on stage in Paris for a live cover a a classic AC/DC hit.

Wolfgang joined the pair to perform AC/DC’s  ‘Highway To Hell’. His band performed as a support act to Slash and Kennedy.

Slash began this performance by playing the iconic riff from the AC/DC hit, while the rest of the band joined in. Van Halen and Kennedy joined in the chorus, with bassist Todd Kearns on vocals. Wolfgang also provided electrifying guitar as well.

Kennedy and Van Halen had earlier performed ‘Take A Bow’, a track from the singer’s band Mammoth WVH.

Introducing Van Halen to the stage, Kennedy said:  “We’re honoured that we’ve been able to tour with this next gentleman and his band, ’cause I think he’s one of the most talented people on the planet”.

This also comes after Joe Satriani announced a major tour with Sam Hagar to honour the late Eddie Van Halen later this Summer.

Satriani said of the shows: “My task right now is trying to unravel the mystery of Eddie Van Halen’s strange guitar playing”.
