Guinness has announced an immersive FREE festive experience featuring some of the best Irish music and food, is happening at the Best Music Pub in Ireland!
The Live and Rising event will be on in Dolan’s, Limerick on Tuesday 5th December and will be hosted by Dubliner Jazzy, one of Ireland most exciting rising stars, who was the first Irish woman to ever hit number one on Spotify.
Jazzy was the first Irish female artist to reach number one on the Irish Singles Chart in over 14 years and famously celebrated by buying a round of drinks for everyone in her local pub after she got the news!
The night will spotlight the incredible food that can be found in pubs across the country with Dolan’s is set to create the ultimate festive feast for one night only. Food & travel presenter Cassie Stokes will be on hand to co-host the evening and guide us through the Christmas menu which will be inspired by some of Jazzy’s favourite festive dishes.
Jazzy said: “It’s been such an amazing year, especially for Irish talent around the country. So, I’m delighted to close out 2023 with a special Guinness Live & Rising event, to celebrate pubs that always provide a stage to our emerging talent. There’s always a special vibe in and around the pubs this time of year and I think we all love a sing song over a pint with our friends and family.
Mick Dolan of Dolan’s Pub also commented: Dolan’s has always championed new musicians and some of Ireland’s most successful artists have performed here throughout the years. Pubs across the country, including Dolan’s, are not only a place for people to come together for a pint and some music, but somewhere to enjoy world class food. Guinness Live & Rising launched in epic style earlier this year, with global superstar Dermot Kennedy who performed on the roof of the Guinness Storehouse. READ MORE & WATCH VIDEO HERE.
The 12-month programme of pop-up music, food, and sports events, was specially designed to showcase the “creativity, culture and craic that can only be found in an Irish pub,” according to a press release.
