Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has recently announced two Irish dates for the European leg of his solo tour. Cornell has announced two dates in Belfast and Dublin for next year.
Following the huge success of his recent U.S. tour, Cornell will bring his Higher Truth tour to Europe starting on the 23rd of March in Reykjavik, Iceland, before crossing the rest of the continent.
It was announced earlier today that Chris Cornell will be playing two Irish dates next year. The first sees him play in Belfast’s Ulster Hall on the 24th of April 2016, with the second date being the following night at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on the 25th.
Tickets for both shows are due to go on sale next week on Thursday the 5th of November. All tickets will be available to buy from Ticketmaster.
Each headline show venue on the tour has been selected to host Cornell’s widely acclaimed and intimate acoustic live performance. Chris Cornell will play a mixture of songs that span his entire career when he plays in Ireland next year.
As well as playing songs from his critically acclaimed new album Higher Truth, Cornell will plays tracks from his time with Soundgarden & Audioslave as well as covers of Led Zeppelin & The Beatles.
