Chris Martin stopped a recent Coldplay concert in Sydney, after spotting a young fan being crushed in the crowd.

Coldplay were performing in Sydney's Accor Stadium, when their frontman suddenly noticed a young boy was distressed in the mosh pit near the front of the stage.

It remains unclear as to who was supervising the young boy at this stage.

In a video which has gone viral, Chris Martin helps the young boy to safety at the show.

Martin who is a father of two himself, can be heard saying to the boy from the stage: "You can sit right here, OK? You don't have to be squeezed".

The singer can also been seen gesturing for the young boy to lifted over the crowd-control barriers, before adding: "Then you don't have to be squished by all these adults is all".

Following this, Chris Martin then asked the security team if they could "get some headphones for him".

"You sit right there my little brother, OK. Better?", the singer told the young fan.

"Now, do you want some coke or something? The drink, I mean," he added as the crowd laughed. "We'll take care of you, man".

Check out footage of this incident here.

Earlier this week, Chris Martin fell through a trap door another Coldplay show in Australia. Literally falling down under! More on this here.

Back in May, Chris Martin also received praise for giving a Coldplay fan a lift to a gig. More on this from Nova here.
