Coldplay paid tribute to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas while playing to an audience in Miami on Monday.

Hurricane Harvey has left several dead and many injured after causing record rainfall and major flooding throughout Houston, Texas.

Coldplay were due to play in the Texas city on the 25th of August, but had to cancel due to safety concerns over the storm. The band took to the stage during the Miami leg of their A Head Full Of Dreams tour to pay tribute to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Before playing ‘Houston #1’, Chris Martin told the audience that this was the only time the song would be performed. “This is because we all grew up loving country music, and of course that’s kind of what we think of when we go to Texas.”

He added,  “We’re gonna sing it in Miami for everybody here, and we’re gonna send it over there to everyone who missed the show.” You can check out the performance below.
