Do you remember the Rockin’ 1000? The Italian Foo Fighters supergroup? They are possibly the largest rock band in the known Universe, with the exception of Disaster Area of course.
The project saw a ridiculously large number of musicians perform ‘Learning To Fly’ in a bid to get Foo Fighters come to play their home town of Cresena. Foo Fighters were so blown away by the epic video that they organised a special show right on their doorstep!
The Goddess of Grunge, Courtney Love , is due to join forces with the Rockin’1000, where she will appear as a special guest at the band’s show. The gig is called That’s Live 2018, and will go ahead on Saturday 21st July at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.
In a press release, the massive rock band will perform ’18 of the most exciting songs in rock history’, Love will perform classic songs by her band Hole. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
