Blur lead singer Damon Albarn has said that the band’s set during weekend two at Coachella is “probably our last gig”.
For the second Saturday night running, Blur including drummer Dave Rowntree, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James, alongside Albarn, performed at the annual music and arts festival’s main stage.
It was at this point that lead singer Damon Albarn told the crowd that this may be the last time fans will see the Britpop stars live on stage.

Last week, the Blur singer had bemoaned the crowd’s lack of enthusiasm at their Coachella set.
This happened while Albarn attempted to lead the crowd on a singalong of their hit ‘Girls & Boys’.
Albarn encouraged the fans to join in a chorus of “ow, ow, ow”, which was met with a slightly subdued response from the fans, with only few participating in this singalong.
Following this, Damon Albarn muttered he was “walking out”, before leading the fans on another chorus, which was met with a similar result.
At this point, Albarn told the audience, “You’ll never see us again so you might as well f****** sing it”. More on this from Nova here.
