Dave Grohl spent his birthday cooking meals for families who were affected by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
The Foo Fighters lead singer, spent his special day making these meals from those who have suffered at the hands of these fires, which have has so far forced more than 180,000 to evacuate their properties, and over 12,000 homes destroyed.
At the time of writing, 24 people were confirmed dead from these fires.
Several celebrities have also lost their homes in these fires, including Mark Hamill and Eugene Levy among others. More on this here.

The wildfires also have also forced several high profile events to be delayed, including the Oscars nominations ceremony, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, while the release of the latest Netflix documentary, produced by Meghan Markle was also pushed back until March. More on this here.
In an effort to help those affected by the wildfires, Dave Grohl was filmed stirring a huge pot of chili, as he helped to provide food for people who have been forced to leave their homes.
This footage which was shared by Feed The Streets Los Angeles on Instagram, also shows Grohl who turned 56 on that same day, pushing containers down the pavement to help. See footage of this here.
This is not the first time that Dave Grohl has given up his time to help the people of LA.
Back in February, Grohl spent the Super Bowl Sunday cooking food at a barbecue at a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.
The singer had barbecued 70 pork butts at the Woodlands Family Shelter in Woodland Hills, California, as he and friends kindly donated 24 hours of their time to the cause. More on this from Nova here.
