Dave Grohl was recently spotted at the Wimbledon tennis tournament, and has even predicted who he thinks will win.
Grohl’s band Foo Fighters have just wrapped up a UK Tour, with the lead singer spotted at the SW19 event, donning a clean cut suit and tie with brown loafers.
This tour has seen Foo Fighters perform in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Cardiff, supporting their album, ‘But Here We Are’. More on this from Nova here.
Dave Grohl “Couldn’t say”
While at Wimbledon, Dave Grohl was also stopped by the BBC for a quick chat about his predictions for the tournament’s winners.
When asked on his thoughts on who he felt would win the competition, Grohl replied: “What?”.
After he was asked a second time, Dave Grohl once again replied: “What?”, before adding that he had “no clue” about who would triumph in the men’s singles.
When asked about who he thought would would come out on top in the women’s singles, the former Nirvana drummer added that he “couldn’t say”.
Last week while performing at the London Stadium as part of his UK Tour with Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl invited guests including Paul McCartney and Bono backstage to his own bar in the Foo Fighters’ dressing rooms.
The London Stadium is also home to English football side West Ham United.
“Dave knows how to party and loves a drink-up. He opened his own pub for his VIPs – and they stayed up until 6am going at it”, a source told The Sun newspaper.
“They drank the bar dry after their last show and it was light by the time everyone started getting cars home”.
The guests reportedly drank the bar “dry”, staying into the early hours. More on this from Nova here.
Back in February, Dave Grohl also spent the Super Bowl preparing a barbecue at a homeless shelter in LA. More on this here.
