Dave Grohl joined forces with LA’s The Bird and the Bee for their special guest appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
The Foos frontman teamed up with the indie duo for a version of the Van Halen classic ‘Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love’.
This track is set to feature on The Bird and the Bee’s forthcoming record ‘Interpreting The Masters Volume 2: A Tribute Van Halen’, which is dropped today August 2 nd.
The Bird and the Bee aka Kurstin and George guested on Foo Fighters’ tune ‘Dirty Water’. The NME reports that Kurstin also produced the Foos’ record, ‘Concrete and Gold’.
Also appearing on today’s release from The Bird and the Bee is Beck, who has been a long-time collaborator of Kurstin’s.
Beck features on a jazzed-up version of Van Halen’s ‘Hot For Teacher’. The Bird and the Bee’s last original LP was 2015’s ‘Recreational Love’.
