Dolly Parton has revealed that she will share a live cover of Beatles hit 'Let It Be', featuring a star studded line up of collaborators.
The track which originally featured on the Beatles' 12th and final studio album in 1970, will include surviving band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, alongside Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood.
The song will be covered by Parton, taken from her upcoming album 'Rockstar', which arrives later this year.
Other collaborators featuring on the album also include Sting, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Debbie Harry, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and others.
Parton's collaboration with Elton John will see the pair cover the single 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me'. More on that here.
Sharing the news regarding her latest collaboration, Dolly Parton tweeted that this new collaboration with McCartney, Starr, Frampton and Fleetwood would drop this Friday (18 August).
“My new ‘Rockstar’ single, “Let It Be” is dropping this Friday!", Parton wrote. “This song is really special to me because I’m joined by @PaulMcCartney who wrote the song, along with @ringostarrmusic, @peterframpton and @mickfleetwood".

Earlier this Summer, Dolly Parton had teamed up with former Journey singer Steve Perry, 'Open Arms', which also features on the upcoming album.
“I’m so thrilled that everyone is as excited as I am about Dolly’s new record. I have been a Dolly Parton fan for years and years and to sing one of my songs with her was truly a thrill. When I first got the track I could not believe how strong and amazing her voice was. I did my very best to keep up with that girl, but boy she’s got fire!”, Perry wrote in a previous message.
“And to quote her on my telephone she said, ‘I think we harmonize well together, don’t you?’ And I said “Absolutely my dear. Absolutely”, he added.
