Dublin Fire Brigade has been dealing with a major gorse fire in Howth today. It was called to the scene in the early hours of this morning.
3 pumps and a water tanker tended to the blaze. Dublin Fire Brigade posted photos and videos of the fire on Twitter and says it’s checked in with people living close to the fire scene to make sure they’re safe.

It’s warning that more fires of this type can be expected with the current dry weather.
