Dublin Man Appears In Court Charged Murder Of Jordan Davis

A 28 year old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Jordan Davis in Dublin last month.

The 22 year old was shot dead in Darndale while pushing his 4 month old son in a buggy.

On the afternoon of the 22nd of May, Jordan Davis was shot dead beside Our Lady Immaculate National School on Marigold Road in Darndale.

The 22 year old was pushing his 4 month old son in a buggy at the time.
This morning Wayne Cooney with an address at Glenshane Drive in Tallaght appeared in court charged with his murder.

The 28 year old was arrested on Saturday the 22nd of June and brought to Coolock Garda Station.

Wearing a blue tshirt and navy tracksuit bottoms, the court heard that Mr Cooney made no reply when charged.

He’s been remanded in custody to Cloverhill prison where he’ll appear again this Friday the 28th June.
