Duran Duran have launched two perfumes in collaboration with luxury fragrance firm, Xerjoff.
This collaboration sees the band join forces with Xerjoff owner, Sergio Momo, celebrating Duran Duran's impact on music and pop culture over the last forty years. The perfumes have influences from the band, as well as its music, with Duran Duran being very hands on in the creative process.
The first of these fragrances created by Duran Duran is Black Moonlight, which pays homage to the band's "dark side", as well as a strange video of the band, a ghost, and some 19th century woman spraying the scent.
This scent is a mix of cardamom, bergamot, saffron, myrrh, jasmine and ylang-ylang sitting on a base of balsam, Tonka bean and patchouli. Its striking look and bolder scent may prove to be a hit. Check it out here.
Slightly brighter of the scents is NeoRio, which initially gives off a hint of rum, candied fig, labdanum and elemi. It is then followed by rose oil, sap and saffron, with a finish of Peru balsam, Tonka bean and patchouli again. There is also a smell of resinious almond and spice.

These scents which launched this week at London's Lost City, are available at the Xerjoff website, which come in 50 ml sizes, costing €315 each.
Coming up this Summer, Duran Duran will perform two shows in Ireland, taking to the stage at Dublin's Malahide Castle on June 30, before heading over to Cork's Virgin Media Park on July. The band will be supported by Nile Rogers and Chic. More on this from Nova here.
