An elderly woman was taken to hospital yesterday evening following an incident with a motorcyclist
That’s when she got off a bus in south Dublin.. The woman, in her early 70s, was attempting to cross the road near Ballinteer Avenue at roughly 7.50pm yesterday evening.
The woman was then struck by a motorbike. She was rushed to St James Hospital and according to gardai she had incurred serious injuries,.
Later last night the lady was transferred to Beaumont Hospital. The Independent reports that the woman was visiting a relative at the time she was knocked down.
The motorcyclist, in his 30s, was brought to St Vincent’s Hospital with minor injuries.
Dundrum Gardai are investigating the collision.
