It has been announced that tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 will go on sale on Wednesday the 21st of August at 9am, just days after this year’s festival ends.
Both loyalty scheme tickets and general admission tickets will be available, as well as family camping, caravan and campervan tickets.
Electric Picnic 2024 will take place in Stradbally, Co. Laois this week, starting Friday August 16th and running until Sunday August 18th.
This year, Electric Picnic had to move the festival up two weeks earlier than the usual dates to accommodate certain acts.
Organisers have confirmed that Electric Picnic 2025 will return to its usual dates on the last weekend of August.
“There were a couple of acts that we wanted to secure, and this was the best date for them, and we moved. But we’ll go back next year.” said Festival Republic’s managing director, Melvin Benn.
Electric Picnic 2024 will mark the festival’s 20th anniversary and will see headliners such as Noah Kahan, Calvin Harris and Kylie Minogue.
This year the festival is set to draw in a record-breaking crowd of over 75,000 attendees. Tickets went on sale last September and sold out within an hour.
Electric Picnic began as a one-day festival in 2004 and quickly grew in popularity. It has been a three-day long festival since 2008.
This year’s attendees will be glad to know that the weather is set to be mostly dry this weekend, with a mixture of sun and cloud and highs of 19 degrees.
