You won't have to do your makeup in a dark tent at Electric Picnic this year.

EP have announced they are adding 'get ready with me stations' to general campsites.

There'll be mirrors, lighting and extra plugs to make your glam routine easier.

There'll also be more showers and toilets across the board.

The largest festival in the country, which already sold out months in advance, will take place in Stradbally, Co Laois, from August 29 to 31.

Over 75,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which will this year host the headline acts Hozier, Chappell Roan, Kings of Leon, Fatboy Slim and Sam Fender.

The pre-existing campsites named after musical and cultural icons Jimi Hendrix, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Ériu and Janis Joplin will remain, but will be upgraded to include more showers, toilets and “Get Ready with Me” stations with mirrors and plugs for straighteners and hairdryers.

New pre-booked options will be introduced, allowing campers to register via the Electric Picnic website to ensure there is sufficient space for their tent in their preferred campsite.

Organisers have urged attendees to remember that this is not a reservation for a designated pitch.

These sites include the brand-new Glitterball Campsite, which will be added to the reformatted Poets Camp and the existing Eco and An Láthair Ghaeltachta.

Festival organisers said inclusivity is “at the heart” of the new Glitterball Campsite, which is “supported by gender-inclusive teams who are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all”.

The environmentally-conscious Eco Camp will be expanded to include more showers and toilets, with a new camping spot beside the woods.

The Poets Camp has been designated as an “oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle” with limited noise after 1am and a host of yoga and pilates classes and meditation sessions.

The Gaeltacht campsite will also return to Electric Picnic and campers will have the opportunity to pitch their tents in the company of other Irish language speakers, with attendees asked to only book a space in the campsite if they plan to speak in Irish in the campsite throughout the weekend.

Reservations for the Glitterball, Eco, Poets, and An Láthair Ghaeltachta campsites are available immediately via Ticketmaster. Access to these will be via additional specific wristband only.

Jimi Hendrix, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Ériu and Janis Joplin require no reservation.

Tickets for the 2025 festival completely sold out last August, just days after the 2024 event which featured Kylie Minogue, Noah Kahan, Calvin Harris, The Wolfe Tones, who drew a record-breaking crowd to the Electric Tent the year prior, and Kneecap
