The first round of acts for this year's Electric Picnic have been announced.
Hozier will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his first album by kicking off the headliner performances on Friday night.
He'll be followed by Chappell Roan. The Midwest Princess Chappell Roan has established herself as your favourite artist’s favourite artist and an international superstar, performing all over the world and bagging a Grammy to boot – she makes her Picnic debut this August.
On Saturday, Brit Award winner and multi-platinum artist and Saturday night headliner Sam Fender will take over the main stage at Stradbally Hall, with Fatboy Slim taking over after that.
Sam Fender will perform songs from his recently released chart topping third album. Joining Sam on Saturday’s lineup and closing out the main stage is the iconic Fatboy Slim.
To close out the festival on Sunday, ticket holders will get a performance from Kings of Leon.
The event organisers promise "it's going to be very special".
Tickets to the three day event sold out in a few hours last August.
And finally, no strangers to performing in Ireland but also making their Picnic debut and a stalwart of the rock scene, Kings of Leon will headline Sunday night.
Electric Picnic is Ireland’s biggest music and arts festival and will take place this year from 29th to 31st August. The 600 acres of rolling fields at Stradbally Estate will provide the perfect backdrop for the end of summer extravaganza as Picnic fan favourites return with Trailer Park, Croí, Salty Dog, Providencia, Fish Town and much, much more!
