Many figures from the world of entertainment have reacted to the recent shooting of former US President Donald Trump over the weekend.
On Saturday (July 13), Trump was shot after he had just taken to the stage at his final campaign rally ahead of this week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Mr Trump was later rushed off the stage by the Secret Service, with blood running down his face.
The person who fired these shots from a rifle, has since been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Mr Crooks was also shot dead at the scene by Secret Service agents.
Having reported that Mr Trump was “safe”, the Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) have said that this incident is being treated as an assassination attempt.
Elsewhere, spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi has added that one spectator was also killed at this rally, with two other people critically wounded.
Donald Trump also confirmed that he was safe, adding that the bullet struck him on the upper part of his ear.
“We are all in trouble now!”
This assassination attempt on Mr Trump has sent shockwaves around the world, with many figures from showbusiness having their say on the events.
Taking to social media, US rapper 50 Cent shared a clip of his track, ‘Many Men (Wish Death)’, including a photo of Trump standing with his fist in the air, and blood on his cheek.
“I know the vibes,” he wrote. “We are all in trouble now!”.
Other household names to have their say on social media, also include known Trump supporter Kid Rock, who shared a video via Instagram, yelling at the camera.
“You f*** with Trump, you f*** with me”, the ‘All Summer Long’ singer said.
Other names from the world of entertainment to react online also include Blondie’s Chris Stein, OME, and US rapper Soulja Boy.
