Last month, a letter which was written by the late John Lennon to Eric Clapton suggesting that they should form a band in 1971, went up for auction.
A first draft was written by Lennon on 29 September 1971, and includes several deletions and markings.
Until now, the final draft of this letter has not been seen in public, while it also remains unknown if the original draft differs from the final copy.
Clapton had previously performed with John Lennon and Yoko Ono in the Plastic Ono Band, just before the official Beatles split. More on this from Nova here.
